Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Overview

This website is operated by JoPilot under the automaTech brand ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site or contact us through it, how we use it, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what rights you have.

By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site. This policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Use.

What information we collect

Information you give us — when you fill in the contact form, message us on WhatsApp or send us an email, we receive the details you choose to provide: your name, business name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message.

Technical information collected automatically — as on most websites, our hosting servers log basic usage data such as IP address, browser and device type, the page you arrived from and the time of access. We use this to operate and secure the site and to diagnose faults.

Analytics information — if we have enabled an analytics service, aggregate usage data may be collected, such as pages viewed, time on page and approximate geographic location. Cookie-based analytics do not run before you have given your consent in the cookie banner.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as health, financial or biometric data) and we do not ask you to provide it. Please do not include sensitive information in messages you send us.

Why we use your information

To respond to your enquiry, understand what you need and provide you with information or a proposal for our services.

To manage our business relationship, including scheduling meetings, sending documents and providing ongoing service.

To operate, secure and improve the site, diagnose faults and prevent misuse.

To meet legal obligations that apply to us and, where necessary, to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party targeted advertising. We will not send you marketing email without your consent, and every such message includes an unsubscribe option.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal information in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations, including Amendment 13. For visitors in the European Union, and to the extent the GDPR applies, we rely on one of the following bases: your consent (for example to analytics cookies or marketing); the necessity of performing a contract or taking steps prior to entering one (handling your enquiry); our legitimate interests (securing and improving the site); and legal obligation.

Providing information through the site is voluntary and not required by law — but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This site uses essential cookies required for it to function correctly and securely, and analytics cookies — but the latter are only loaded after you have accepted them in the cookie banner.

If you decline analytics cookies, none are loaded. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.

Sharing with third parties

We use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf and only on our instructions — including our hosting and delivery provider, the email service that powers the contact form, our analytics provider (where enabled) and the WhatsApp platform you may choose to contact us through. Each is given access only to the information needed to perform its function.

We will also disclose information where required by law, court order or a request from a competent authority; where necessary to protect our rights, the security of the site or the safety of others; or as part of a reorganisation, merger or transfer of business — provided the receiving party is subject to equivalent privacy obligations.

Beyond this, we do not transfer your personal information to any third party without your consent.

Transfers outside Israel

Some of our service providers operate servers outside Israel, so information may be stored or processed abroad. Where that happens, we work to ensure the transfer complies with the Israeli Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations and with accepted safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Information security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold — including encrypting traffic to the site (HTTPS), restricting access on a need-to-know, least-privilege basis, using established providers, and managing passwords and access keys carefully.

No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we identify a serious security incident affecting your information, we will act in accordance with the reporting obligations that apply to us.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a reasonable period for business follow-up, and no longer than 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Information relating to an actual engagement is kept for the duration of that engagement and afterwards as required to meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.

At the end of these periods the information is deleted or rendered non-identifiable.

Your rights

You have the right to review the personal information we hold about you; to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date; to ask us to delete it; to withdraw a consent you have given (including to cookies or marketing), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand; and to object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address in the site footer. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by law. We may ask for further details to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice, and visitors in the European Union may contact their local supervisory authority.

Minors

The site is aimed at business owners and professionals and is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to external sites and services

The site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including WhatsApp and LinkedIn. We have no control over their privacy practices and are not responsible for how they collect or use information. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any service before using it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example following changes in the law or in how the site operates. The updated version will be published on this page alongside the last-updated date, and any material change will be highlighted on the site. Continued use of the site after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
